The Empyrean 1
If the Hollow Choir thrive in shadows and whispers, the Empyrean blaze like a lighthouse cutting through the storm. To see them is to be reminded of the golden age; of bright colors, bold ideals, and a belief that tomorrow can always be brighter than today. They are not blind to the rot and cruelty of the world, nor to the flaws within themselves, yet they choose hope all the same. Their strength lies not only in power but in the courage to stand as symbols: fallible, human, and shining nonetheless.
Solar Prime
A technological titan, Solar Prime embodies the Empyrean’s dream of human transcendence. With synthetic muscles grafted to his body and a compact jetpack slung at his back, he can lift starships and soar through the skies as if born to it. His symbol, the alchemical mark of air, reminds him, and those he saves, that strength lies in elevation of spirit as much as body. Though earnest to his core, his flair for the dramatic sometimes makes him look more like a caricature of a hero than the real thing, a fact he takes in stride with a booming laugh.
Viridian Vice
Swashbuckler, space-ranger, and eternal wanderer, Viridian Vice carries himself with the nobility of a knight and the smile of a rogue. His blade and blaster have toppled warlords, yet he is remembered most for the way he treats even the weakest stranger with dignity. His blue skin and alien air only add to his mystique, whether the result of birth, science, or choice is a question he never bothers to answer. Rumor has it his real addiction isn’t vice at all, but the thrill of saving someone who had no hope left.
Titan Lux
A living monument of muscle and motion, Titan Lux towers like a skyscraper even at rest. Famous both as a hero and as a face on billboards, his compression suit allows his enormous frame to move with startling grace. To the people, he is both protector and celebrity, adored for his feats on the battlefield and in commercials alike. Yet those closest to him know the truth: Titan fears the day he grows too large, too slow, or too irrelevant to inspire the world he loves.
Violet Wraith
Cold elegance wrapped in a shroud of violet, Violet Wraith drifts through battle like a whisper of silk. Her psionic gifts: telekinesis, flight, invisibility, make her a ghost no enemy can catch, though she’s just as likely to float above a concert or slip unseen into a gallery as she is to haunt the battlefield. Sharp-tongued and sardonic, she never plays the brooding recluse, instead wearing her aloofness like a badge of irony. Beneath her hipster detachment, though, burns a quiet determination to protect those who live unseen.
Avatar IRL
At first glance, Avatar IRL looks more like a cosplayer than a savior: a chubby gamer in overalls and a luchador mask. But beneath the playful aesthetic lies a body trained to mimic the tireless resilience of video game avatars: running for hours, climbing walls, pushing his stamina past reason. He treats missions like “quests,” grinding skill after skill until he masters them in absurd detail. Though some dismiss him as a novelty act, his sheer heart, encyclopedic nerd knowledge, and ironclad optimism often win the day.
