The Empyrean 4

The Empyrean 4

The Empyrean stand as symbols not only of strength, but of legacy. Many among their ranks are echoes of myth reborn; heroes who wear the trappings of past ages while shaping a brighter future. In them, the old stories are not forgotten, but reforged with science, courage, and the conviction that dignity is timeless. Whether drawn from legend, clad in steel, or stitched together by fate itself, these champions prove that hope is a mantle that can be carried in any form, so long as the bearer is willing to rise.

Gilgamesh
Cocky, brilliant, and impossibly charming, this incarnation of Gilgamesh bears little resemblance to the tyrant of old. Draped in flamboyant scarves and eccentric attire reminiscent of Doctor Who, he treats the multiverse as his personal playground, leaping through time and space with a grin, a quick quip, and a curious twinkle in his eye. Yet beneath that flamboyant exterior lies the weight of ancient memory; Gilgamesh remembers his past lives in fragments, haunted by a lingering need to prove he has grown beyond his old cruelties. His kindness is genuine, but tinged with a desperation to never again become the despot his name evokes. In him, optimism and remorse intertwine, forming a hero who seeks redemption one adventure at a time.

Enkidu
Enkidu is a living paradox: part primal beast, part biomechanical construct, crowned with delicate antlers that glow faintly when his emotions swell. Towering and broad, his massive form could easily intimidate, yet his presence radiates warmth and calm, as if he carried the heartbeat of the earth within him. His biotech enhancements hum and click like living armor, blurring the line between nature and invention, but his soul is unmistakably gentle. He prefers quiet conversation and laughter shared by fireside to conflict, though in battle, he becomes a wall of raw, unstoppable force. As Gilgamesh’s counterpart and anchor, Enkidu embodies the strength of simplicity, teaching that love and loyalty are greater powers than any spell or machine.

Iron Shogun
Encased in colossal armor modeled after the Getter Robo, Iron Shogun is less a man than a living citadel. Every step he takes resounds like a temple bell, every motion guided by centuries of warrior’s discipline. His face is etched with lines of weariness and devotion, the look of a man who has given his entire life to the ideals of honor and duty. The massive star-forged axe he wields is both weapon and symbol; a reminder that he will always cleave a path for those who cannot defend themselves. Yet for all his severity, Iron Shogun is not without softness; in rare unguarded moments, he finds solace in poetry, art, and the fleeting beauty of sunrise, revealing that his stoicism is as much shield as it is creed.

Lady Halcyon
Clad in a sleek suit that blends the elegance of regalia with the practicality of a spacefaring exosuit, Lady Halcyon moves with grace that is equal parts noblewoman and astronaut. Her voice is soft, deliberate, and impossibly steady, the kind of tone that makes soldiers stop shaking and civilians find hope in impossible odds. A scientist by training and a philosopher by temperament, she bridges the gap between faith and reason, treating every breakthrough in her lab as a hymn to the divine mysteries of the cosmos. Lady Halcyon embodies dignity itself, a radiant figure who uplifts those around her with the certainty that humanity is meant for something greater than fear. And though she rarely raises her voice in anger, when she does, it is like the strike of a comet; sudden, brilliant, and impossible to ignore.

Victor Patch
Victor Patch is a strange and unnerving enigma stitched together into the shape of a man. His patchwork garb seems almost theatrical, but it conceals a body that has been scarred, replaced, and reforged so many times that it no longer remembers its original shape. His face is a mask of unbroken calm, his eyes unreadable as he strides into battle without hesitation or fear. Blades pierce him, bullets sink into him, yet he does not flinch; he simply keeps advancing, a silent judgment walking on two legs. To criminals, he is the embodiment of inevitability. Many surrender at the mere sight of him, terrified by his unshakable neutrality. Yet those who know him privately describe him as courteous, even kind, albeit unsettlingly detached. Justice is his obsession, and in Victor Patch’s mind, it is the one truth that makes all other suffering worthwhile.
